Ridicules charges against Brother Anil Kumar Vijayawada: The YSR Congress Party here on Monday demanded public apology from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for making wild allegations against evangelist Brother Anil Kumar.A Speaking to the media, the YSR Congress Krishna district unit convener Samineni Udaya Bhanu, brushed aside the allegations of BJP leader N V S S Prabhakar against Anil Kumar. He said that the BJP leader had linked the evangelist to several corporate companies and also attributed crime against him.A He further added that Anil Kumar was engaged in spreading peace and love among people and asserted that he had no links with any business as alleged by the BJP leader. He alleged that the BJP was sold out to the Telugu Desam to defame the family of late Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy. He said that the TD had lost the hope of returning to power in 2014 elections and was doing everything to prove its existence. On its part, the BJP too had lost its ground in the State and was trying to make its presence felt among the people, he said and added that the two parties have ganged up to get political mileage by making allegations against the YSR family. He said that the people in the State were watching these power politics and demanded that the BJP stop mudslinging activity against the late Chief Minister's family.A Udaya Bhanu said that the BJP leaders were known for their corruption and had no right to point an accusing finger at Anil Kumar. He recalled that BJP national president Bangaru Lakshman had to step out of party post on corruption charges. Similarly, the present president Nitin Gadkhari too was involved in several corruption cases, he said and maintained that the BJP had no right to criticise other parties. The former legislator and the YSR Congress leader Jaleel Khan said that the BJP leaders were known for their anti-social and communal activities.A He said that the people of Hyderabad, where the party claims its existence , rejected it and they were now worried about their future after 2014 elections. A He sought to advise the BJP leaders to concentrate on the survival of their party rather than wasting time on the YSR Congress as people were not ready to buy their lies.
