Kurnool: Demanding suspension of sub-inspector of police Madhusudana Rao and constable Mahesh for indiscriminately beating four persons during the Ganesh Nimajjanam in Chityala village of Krishnagiri mandal on September 11, the members of Valmiki Reservation Porata Samiti took out a massive rally from the Ambedkar Bhavan to the Collectorate on Monday.
VRPS president Subhash Chandra Bose in a petition to the district collector, C Sudarsan Reddy appealed to the officials to take stern action against the police personnel. The agitators tried to gatecrash into the Collectorate but the police stopped them.
Later they submitted the petition to the district collector.
