Terming the newly-introduced farmer support initiative Rythu Bandhu a golden chapter in farmers’ welfare, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao said that the scene would be true game changer.
Karimnagar: Terming the newly-introduced farmer support initiative Rythu Bandhu a golden chapter in farmers’ welfare, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao said that the scene would be true game changer.
He said that an amount of Rs 6000 crore was deposited in the banks and this amount would be given to the farmers for the rain-fed crops. On the occasion, he lauded the efforts of the bankers inn preparing the passbooks and cheques for the farmers. He said that Rs 12000 crore have been allocated for the crop investment in the state and asked the farmers to utilize the funds to improve the yield.
He claimed that Telangana was a role model for the whole country as it is providing 24-hour free power to the farm sector. From this year on, we are giving input investment too, he said. He also lauded the revenue officials for overhauling the land records in the state.
