A proposal for a communications satellite exclusively for Telangana has been put forth before IT Minister KT Rama Rao in Hyderabad on Thursday.
CEO of Society for Telangana State Network (SoFTNet) under the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Government of Telangana, R Sailesh Reddy proposed the idea to grasp the latest technology for additional programmes for the benefit of students.
SoFTNet utilizes GSAT satellite to telecast programmes with T-SAT NIPUNA and T-SAT VIDYA bringing educational programmes in various spheres.
Responding to the proposal, KTR said that they should definitely think big adding that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao strongly believes that the benefits of technology should reach everyone and added the several ideas have been shared to help job seekers prepare for competitive examinations.
Mentioning that the job seekers are unaware of the Central government job notifications including the Army, paramilitary forces, and several other organizations, the Minister said that right guidance is required for them to be prepared and get recruited.
