Hyderabad: Congress party treasurer and AICC member Gudur Narayana Reddy on Friday wrote a letter to Chief Electoral Officer Rajath Kumar asking him to ensure that distribution of Bathukamma will be done through fair price shops and not by any TRS leaders since the model code of conduct is in force.
As the model code of conduct is in force in the state, the TRS leaders in the caretaking government should not implement any programmes in the state, said Reddy.
It also asked the CEO to also ensure that sarees are distributed to the women without any labels of TRS party and CM KCR.
