Hyderabad: Close on the heels of Attapur broad daylight murder, a man was hacked to death in front of his father at Maheswaram on Sunday morning.
According to the police, T Raju (38) was killed when he went to Nagaram village in Maheswaram along with his father Narasimha to borrow money from an advocate. When the duo was waiting near Shivaji statue at the village, a few people attacked Raju with axes and killed him in front of his father.
It is learned that Raju was killed by so-called Shakaraiah and Matsyendra who developed grudge on him following the death of their family member Krishna who found dead on a railway track near Shamshabad in January, 2017.
Alerted by the locals, the police shifted the body to a hospital for post-mortem after the preliminary investigation.
