Mother, son die of extreme cold in Hyderabad

A mother and her son on Wednesday died of extreme cold here in Jubilee Hills.

According to the police, the woman, Bucchiveni who is working as a maid is residing at Jubilee Hills with her son Padmarao. The woman on Wednesday burnt the coal to warm up her room before sleeping. She also closed the doors and windows of the house which led to their death due to suffocation.

Locals who noticed the massive smoke coming out of the house informed the police. The police who broke the door confirmed that they were already dead. A case was registered by them.

The deceased were identified as natives Pitapuram in East Godavari district.
