Woman in extra marital affair kills 3-year-old son in Mancherial

A woman allegedly strangled her son to death on Tuesday in Chennur after he emerged as an impediment in her extra marital affair.

Deepa got married to Shankaraiah, a native of Jaipur village in Chennur eight years ago. The couple has a three-year-old son Anjaiah. After giving birth to Anjaiah, Deepa handed over him to her relatives who reside near their house to continue her extra marital relation.

On Tuesday, when Shankaraiah went for work, Deepa strangled her son to death when Anjaiah came to play with her. However, Deepa admitted to killing her son after her husband confronted her.

A case was registered by the police.
