Failed to receive Rythu Bandhu money, farmer ends life in Sangareddy

A farmer committed suicide on Friday after he failed to receive Rythu Bandhu scheme money here at Narayanakhed of Sangareddy district.

According to the SI Sandeep, Eerreddy (52) holds 8.08 acres of agricultural land in Satyagama village. Later, Reddy along with his family moved to Begumpet and joined as a daily wage labourer. Eereddy who received Rs 32,800 in the first phase of the scheme was failed to receive it in the second phase due to the incorrect bank account credentials.

Depressed over it, Reddy told his family that he was going to the village on February 7 and committed suicide on Friday morning.
