Addressing the district BJP leaders here, the former minister said that Congress party had given party tickets only to the rich and industrialists. “The Congress had never given priority to the persons who served people,” he added.

Addressing the district BJP leaders here, the former minister said that Congress party had given party tickets only to the rich and industrialists. “The Congress had never given priority to the persons who served people,” he added.
Referring to the agitation for united Andhra Pradesh, he said that it was not proper on the part of Seemandhra people to launch the agitation. The BJP leader said that Palamuru would turn lush green if Telangana state was formed. “The Congress was trying to backtrack on the issue of Telangana,” he alleged and added that they would remain mute spectators if that happened.
He said that formation of Telangana would impossible without cooperation from the BJP. Nagam asserted that the Telangana with ten districts with Hyderabad as its capital was only acceptable.
Predicting that the YSR Congress would be completely wiped out in Telangana districts, he suggested to the party cadre to invite the disgruntled YSR Congress leaders into the BJP fold. Referring to the future prime minister issue, he said that the whole country was looking forward for Modi to become the prime minister.
