Telangana Ministers Should Quit Says Former Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. Ministers from Telangana should resign to bring pressure on the party high command to implement the Congress Working Committee resolution to form Telangana, said former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
Nalgonda: Ministers from Telangana should resign to bring pressure on the party high command to implement the Congress Working Committee resolution to form Telangana, said former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. He inaugurated several development programmes in the district on Thursday. Addressing the series of meetings held in this connection, the former minister came down heavily on Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for taking sides with Seemandhra forgetting he was the chief minister of the State.
He demanded that the T Ministers should not attend the Cabinet meeting to be held on Friday. He warned that they would lay siege to the houses of Ministers if they did not resign. He said that youth and students were still dying in Telangana even after the announcement by the CWC and Telangana ministers should be held responsible for the suicides.
“How could the senior ministers like Damodara Rajanarasimha and Jana Reddy would attend the Cabinet meeting in the backdrop of the suicides,” he thundered. Komatireddy warned that 90 per cent of the ministers would not win the next elections if they continued like this. The former minister along with MLA Chirumarti Lingaiah, MP Gutha Sukhendar Reddy and MLC Poola Ravindar, laid the foundation stone for the Rs. 15 crore drinking water pipelines from Krishna River at Anneparti village in Nalgonda mandal on Thursday. Earlier, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy released water from Panagal reservoir to various villages in Tipparti mandal to provide irrigation and drinking water.
