Shallow morning fog, clear day for Delhi

New Delhi: While shallow fog enveloped Delhi Sunday morning, a clear day lies ahead for the national capital, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

Maximum temperature during the day is expected to be around 31 degrees Celsius.

"The day will remain clear and evening will be cool," an IMD official said.

The minimum temperature early Sunday was 18 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average for this time in the season.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 87 percent.

The maximum temperature Saturday was 31 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 18.5 degrees Celsius.
