The ATM attacker, who assaulted a 38-year-old woman with a machete in Bangalore, was caught by Karnataka police near Dharmavaram in Anantapur.
Shockingly, the Bangalore victim was not his first. According to reports, he had previously assaulted another woman, Pramilamma in a ATM near Dharmavaram, wearing the same dress. The incident took place on November 10.
The police got the CCTV footage from both the ATMs and matched the clothes of the accused. The assailant robbed Pramilamma off her two ATM cards, forced her to reveal her pin number and then went on to withdraw Rs 4000 and 18000 using both the cards on November 10 near Kadiri.
Owning to the gruesome nature of his crimes, the accused has been nicknamed 'Psycho' by the Police. Further, he has been accused in ten other cases, the Police added.
