Advani on Friday released a book titled "India Uninc" at a function. He took a dig at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his remarks - "I am an anarchist".

Advani said he felt ashamed at the happenings referring to continuous disruption of Parliament on Telangana issue and pandemonium over Lagadapati Rajagopal using pepper spray in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. Attacking the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government, he said people were very annoyed over its performance.

Advani said, "Not only has growth suffered but (functioning of) parliament has suffered a big damage. I cannot imagine, in the history of parliament, such bad 10 years."

Advani said that the prime minister had called BJP leaders for talks on the issue of Telangana statehood bill even as he had expressed his own dissatisfaction over the conduct of some members in the house including members of his party.

Advani wondered why the Prime Minister didn’t act against them. He said hopefully Manmohan Singh needed assistance from someone to direct him to do so.
