Pulse Polio Tomorrow. India has all set to be declared as the polio free country. On Sunday, the National Pulse Polio Immunisation Day would be observed by Andhra Pradesh.
India has all set to be declared as the polio free country. On Sunday, the National Pulse Polio Immunisation Day would be observed by Andhra Pradesh. An estimated 6,56,454 children aged below five years are about to be supplemented with a oral dose of Polio Vaccine.
The planned activities are:
Booth activity - on February 23 (7am to 6pm) – all exclusive booths will administer vaccination through oral drops as per the schedule.
House to house activity will be undertaken from February 24 - 26.
In order to oversee implementation of the program, the government has roped in the District Task Force for successful implementation of the intensified Pulse Polio Program.
