SC takes up EAMCET issue

The Supreme Court of India has initiated its proceedings on EAMCET counseling. The case has been adjourned to August 4th. The apex court has allowed AICTE and Andhra Pradesh government to file counter on this. The court has made it clear that, this act is not for halting the counseling process.

PIL dismissed

On the other hand, Supreme Court has dismissed the petition on the agitation by Telangana advocates that took place in Andhra Pradesh High court. A PIL was filed in SC during the separate state movement of Telangana. The court said that this is not necessary, because the bifurcation had already taken place.
