India summoned Pakistan Deputy High Commissioner and filed a strong objection against alleged adjournment of Mumbai terror attacks trial in Pakistan. Pakistani anti-terrorism court trailing the seven accused in the 2008 Mumbai attacks case postponed the hearing for the seventh time, as the judge has gone on a vacation.

The court officer reported that ATC Rawalpindi Judge Attiquer Rehman has gone on a summer vacation. The next hearing will be on September 3 while the last hearing was held on June 25 could not be held as the judge was on leave.

Lashkar-e-Taiba operations commander Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, Abdul Wajid, Mazhar Iqbal, Hamad Amin Sadiq, Shahid Jameel Riaz, Jamil Ahmed and Anjum have been charged with planning, financing and executing the attacks in Mumbai that killed 166 people.
