MUMBAI: Tennis player Leander Paes is allegedly getting threatening calls. He has lodged an FIR with the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) police on this issue, he filed a complaint that he and his eight-year-old daughter were getting death threats.
Atul Sharma, allegedly threatened Paes in the court premises on October 10.
"We have registered a case against Sharma. We have charged Sharma under the Indian Penal Code sections 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 506 (ll) (criminal intimidation). No arrest has been made so far. Probe is on," said police officer K V Nigade.
Leander Paes have been fighting for the custody of his eight-year-old daughter.
