Guwahati: All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) had directly refused to all speculation on a pre poll alliance with ruling Congress ahead of State assembly poll, 2016.
AIUDF Chief and MP Badaruddin Ajmal on Tuesday said that his party have maintained on previous "Ekla Cholo" policy.
"We will maintain equidistant from both Congress and BJP. But the party will give extended support to third front, " Ajmal said.
Ajmal said that, Congress are intended to sow confusion among the party workers ahead of State assembly poll.
Recently, Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said that, it is possible a pre poll alliance with AIUDF in the state while the Ajmal led party had gave support to UPA government.
