Dr Nandakumar said that a week ago blood sugar levels were recorded to be 300 mg/dl when he began naturopathy treatment, however, the sugar levels have come down to more stable 180 mg/dl. He also said that Mr Kejriwal is on the road to recovery and will fly back to New Delhi on Monday.

Dr Babina Nandakumar, the chief medical officer at Jindal Naturecure said that Mr Kejriwal’s immunity considerably improved and his cough has reduced 75 per cent despite his insulin dosage being cut and a reduction of medicines.


Dr Nandakumar said that Mr Kejriwal must continue practicing yogic kriyas, pranayama and asanas despite his schedules. Also, she added that a minimum of seven to eight hours of sleep every day, rest between work; following a healthy diet pattern and engage in stress-relieving activities would be required for him.


The Delhi Chief Minister’s parents Gita Devi and Gobind Ram Kejriwal who also are undergoing treatment for their ailments at the Jindal Nature cure Institute are showing progress. Kejriwal’s mother had multiple complaints of stiffness, arthritis and mobility issues. Before leaving to Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal will undergo a motivation and counseling session to enable him to continue the course in terms of a healthy lifestyle.
