Bharatiya Janata Party leader Siddarthnath Singh said on Saturday that Pakistan must walk the talk and come out of it denial mode with regard to harbouring India's most wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim.

Reacting to a report appearing in a major Indian daily that establishes that Dawood and some members of his family have been tracked to a residence in Karachi on the basis of telephone bills, Singh told ANI here, "After the dossier on Dawood Ibrahim has come out in today's papers, Pakistan should come out of its denial mode now. It is in the interest of Pakistan to walk the talk."

Singh was commenting on a newspaper report that claimed that Pakistan's High Commissioner to India, Abdul Basit, told the paper that there was no question of handing over 1993 Mumbai blasts main accused Dawood Sheikh Ibrahim as he was not in Pakistan.

The paper, however, has come out with documentary evidence available with the Indian security agencies nails this as a lie.

According to Indian security agencies, Dawood, his wife Mehjabeen Shaikh, son Moeen Nawaz and daughters Mahrukh, Mehreen and Mazia are based in Pakistan and are operating out of upscale Clifton neighborhood of Karachi.

The security agencies further state that they are in possession of an April 2015 telephone bill made in the name of Dawood's wife Mehjabeen with D-13, Block-4, Karachi Development Authority, Sch-5, Clifton, as the installation address.

Dawood, they claim, has three known Pakistani passports, and has two more residential addresses (6A, Khayaban Tanzeem, Phase 5, Defence Housing Area and Moin Palace, II floor, Near Abdullah Shah Ghazi Dargah, Clifton) in Karachi.

These agencies also have documents that show that Dawood's family members have been travelling between Pakistan and Dubai and they also have images of Dawood's Pakistani passport.

According to these security agencies, all this documentary evidence irrefutably establishes evidence of Dawood and his family staying in Karachi. (ANI with inputs)
