The City of Chennai, Tamil Nadu has been affected very badly with heavy rain impacting the day-to-day life of the public. In view of the calamity, the faculty and staff of the S.V.P. National Police Academy led by the Director, Smt. Aruna Bahuguna, IPS have contributed one day salary to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for flood relief work in Chennai as a gesture of lending supporting hand to the victims of this disaster.

A Cheque for Rs.2,64,981/- has been sent to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Office. All officers and staff also contributed rice, dal, milk powder etc. which was handed over to authorities at Chennai.
