The injured were shifted to the district hospital, where two of them succumbed to their injuries.
Balrampur Superintendent of police (SP) said that the accident occurred due to overtaking by Jeep's driver. "All the victims are stated to be natives of nearby Shrawasti district, who on their way back after having 'darshan' in Nepal," he added. (ANI)
