The AAP national organization building in charge Durgesh Pathak, who has also worked for organisation building in Punjab had recently paid a 5-day visit to Goa. While speaking to ANI, Pathak confirmed about his visit and the party's plans in Goa.

AAP leader Ashutosh also visited Goa on 10th March and while speaking to media he said that, "Aam Aadmi party is in serious view to contest assembly election in the state".

Sources from AAP also claim that the party may project a face for the Assembly polls.

Goa has 40 Assembly constituencies and the average population of each assembly is in thousands. AAP is also eyeing the 25% Catholic population of Goa.

Once the organization building process is completed party may make the formal announcement in next 2 months.

AAP has already announced to contest Punjab assembly election in Feb 2017. Goa will also go to polls along with the four other states in February 2017.
