New Delhi: Extending his greetings and felicitations to the government and people of Pakistan on the eve of their National Day, President Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday said India remains committed to peaceful, friendly and cooperative relations with Islamabad.
"India remains committed to peaceful, friendly and cooperative relations with Pakistan. I am of the firm conviction that our cooperation will lead to progress and prosperity in our region," said President Mukherjee in a message to his Pakistani counterpart Mamnoon Hussain.
"Please accept my greetings on the occasion of the National Day of Pakistan. I take this opportunity to extend my best wishes for your good health and well-being," he added.
