“This is an unconfirmed report, but we are alerted for any situation and sounded high alert in all districts including bordering districts with Bangladesh and Meghalaya,” the senior police official said.According to the reports the terrorist group had entered in Assam from South Garo Hills in Meghalaya side.

Following the intelligence input, Assam Police has increased security in Kamakhya temple, Borjhar International airport, hotels in Guwahati and several tourist places in the state.
