Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Saturday dismissed rumours of him being unsure of winning the Himachal Pradesh Assembly polls.

Singh said Congress will reclaim victory in the upcoming state polls.

"I have chosen a tough seat for myself. Congress has not won from Arki in the past four years," Virbhadra Singh told media here in Dharamshala, and added that the Congress Party will reclaim victory in Himachal Pradesh.

Singh also rejected allegations made by former Congress leader Sukh Ram that the Himachal Chief Minister hid cash at his home.

"Does Congress Party lack bank accounts that it will keep its money with Sukh Ram?" said Singh.

Sukh Ram recently switched loyalty after his son Anil Sharma left Congress to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Voting for Himachal Pradesh elections will be held in a single phase on November 9 and the result will be declared on December 18.
