Oh My Word:Sci-fi, Ski, Sky

S c i e n c e - f i c t i o n (noun) is an imagined future of scientific advances, how the future could be with the technological developments around us involving space, time travel, life on other planets, journeys into space among others.

Sci-fi books, films or cartoons are about an imagined future about space travel, life on other planets and in space. Star Trek is one of the most popular sci-fi movies. Dr Who is a British television programme in the genre of sci-fi. One can travel or tread in a snow by wearing skis. Ski (noun) is one of a pair of long narrow pieces made out of wood or other material like synthetic and fastened under the feet for travelling in snow.

Ski boots are a must when skiing. Ski is also a device attached under the aircraft for mobility Skis (noun plural) for snow and slippers for hot weather are a must to protect the feet.
