Birth Day Bash and Opposition Unity – Confusion & Helplessness

If we carefully listen and decode the speeches of various political leaders who gathered in Chennai recently to participate in the 94th birthday of DMK patriarch, one would get the sense of ‘soliloquy’ than to anyone or anything for the nation.

It is like people in the mid 80’s do ruminate their past and vent their fear of death, mostly in solitude. Whatever they speak none can understand as what they speak, why speak, to whom they speak are unclear but certainly no one can deny the truth that they are speaking something continuously.

The most bizarre fact was that most of the political leaders gathered in the event expressed their concern for the nation! It looks like, in three years, Modiji has destroyed the country and its secular credence which all these leaders were guarding and preserving since their birth. What a joke!

Ironically all these people were only ruling and ruining the country ever since independence. CPM has lot to its credit for the state of affairs in Bengal and certainly TMC is no less than CPM to have its share in the above. DMK has ruled the state for long years and certainly its contributions to our nation during UPA1 and UPA2 regime.

The heartfelt cry of Shri Raghul Ghandhi for the minority and poor people has indeed melted our nation far powerfully than the green house effect on Antarctica ice.

Over long years of stay in power and more so, the most glorious rule which no historian can fail to write in the history book- UPA1 and UPA 2, why still we have poor people in this country. What did Modiji do to make people poor? Certainly Modiji has to be credited for making many corrupt politicians poor by bringing demonetization without any prior notice. Certainly Modiji is going after black money holders that might certainly make may such black-sheep poor. Through digitalization Modiji is trying to reduce corruption and certainly such initiative may make may corrupt politicians poor. Naturally some politicians have to cry for such poor.

Making people to keep India clean, promoting the idea of sanitation and building toilets for several lakhs of under privileged people, providing cooking gas connection to poor people, forcing the rich to bequeath the gas subsidy, opening bank account for several millions of poor people to directly reach the benefits of Government schemes to their account by annulling the middleman… certainly all these measures are extremely bad for the opposition leaders because all such transparent governance and good initiatives are unknown to most of them. All such initiatives will make Modiji invincible as people of India are with Modiji because every one wants such transparent, corruption free NEW INDIA.

The unfortunate part of opposition unity is that, like a broken tape, all of them were sloganeering nothing but minority right, secular identity of our nation, cow slaughter ban etc. None of them wants to admit the loud truth that how our country has benefited and marched ahead under Modiji just in three years. Most of them are scared of their shrinking political base due to the good governance Modiji.

Wittingly the opposition has reduced to the level of noisy ‘Chakki’ in the doha of Kabir that

Today the loud sound these chakki’s are making more due to empty grinding as they have nothing to grind due to Modiji nor they had left anything during their long tenure.
It looks like they are speaking to one another mainly to kindle their fading memory otherwise like how people have forgotten them, their colleagues also might forget them once for all.
Unfortunately none spoke or reminisce the great journey of Kalainger Karunanidhi and his political acumen in shaping the state post independence or his literary work.

The show was more around attacking BJP than about celebrating the birth day of Kalaingnar.

It wasn’t celebration, display of fear & frustration over the loss of identity, relevance and significance coupled with helpless and political insolvency.

Change the lyrics and music, perhaps someone may listen to you than keep chanting about secularism etc., is the message the people have for all those leaders. Support Modiji to build New India than over hype some sporadic unfortunate incidents for own political gain is the other message people of India have for all the opposition parties.
