Nizamabad: District Collector Yoigita Rana on Friday launched a rally here to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day. Addressing the participants, she stressed the need for everyone to go in for making cashless payments.
Cashless payments would definitely reduce corruption at various levels, she added. For this, the Collector said, public awareness programmes should be conducted.
Rana reminded the gathering that it was a crime to either to offer bribe or accept it. People should not encourage officials to take bribes as it was an offence, she added.The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau, ACB officials and students were among those who took part in the rally.
