Nizamabad: A large number of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) workers led by city BJYM president Roshan Lal Bohra led a protest rally and burnt the effigy of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi here on Thursday for his unwarranted and uncalled for remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to the media, Bohra lashed out at Rahul Gandhi for calling Modi corrupt when the whole world was praising the Prime Minister for demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes, terming it as a bold and decisive move.
The BJYM president said that it was shameful on the part of Rahul to question the integrity of Narendra Modi who took the decision to abolish the high currency notes to put an end to terrorism sponsored from across the borders in Pakistan , weed out counterfeit currency notes and bring out black money.
Coming down heavily on the Congress vice-president, Bohra said that Rahul Gandhi was immature and childish who did not grow as a political leader, despite being a Member of Parliament for more than 12 years. He said that Indian economy would benefit in the long run due to demonetisation, he added.
Bohra made a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi for spreading lies in the media for cheap publicity and demanded that the Congress vice-president to apologise the Prime Minister for his thoughtless remarks. The whole world knew about the poor leadership qualities of Rahul, he added.
