Nizamabad: District Collector Christina Z Chongthu asked the people to make use of the Revenue Meets to settle land related disputes and other pending issues as many officials belonging to Revenue Department would participate in the meetings in villages. The Collector, as part of the month-long programme, inaugurated a Revenue Meet at Yellammakunta in Nizamabad mandal on Tuesday. Issues like changes in Pahani documents, alterations in the land ownership documents, transfer of properties to heirs, non-possession of land despite having pattas and other issues can be settled at the meetings, she said. Ms Chongthu said that people can bring to the notice of the officials the problems in getting bank loans, hurdles in drinking water, development of agriculture lands under Indira Jala Prabha scheme and other issues. Officials would take initiative to solve the issues to the possible extent. The Collector regretted that many women are not coming forward to take up jobs as Anganwadi workers. Earlier, she inaugurated the renovated premises of VRO office at the community hall.A RDO Hanmanth Reddy, Tahsildar Rajender, MPDO Sanjiv Kumar, RWS EE Venkatesam, agriculture society chairman Muppa Ganga Reddy and Integrated Development of Children and Medical Services (IDCMS) Director Lingam were present. Karimnagar: Government Whip Arepalli Mohan inaugurated Revenue Meet at Khasimpet village of Bejjanki mandal in Karimnagar district on Tuesday. Addressing at the meeting, he urged the farmers to make use of the programme to solve land related problems. The Revenue Meets (Sadassus) would be held in all villages across the district up from March 12 to April 10, Officials have to take steps so that the Assigned lands of the poor and downtrodden should not be encroached by influential persons, he said. He said that the beneficiaries among SCs and STs were not allowed to sell the lands assigned to them. He also assured that financial assistance for the construction of houses under Indiramma Housing scheme would be provided to 15 applicants shortly.A District Collector Smita Sabharwal instructed the officials to keep the particulars of already assigned lands and beneficiaries for distribution of surplus lands in the Government web site. They have to update the details correctly. The village maps would be available to people, she said. Khammam: Minister for Horticulture Ramreddy Venkat Reddy inaugurated Revenue`Sadassu' at Daredu village under Khammam Rural mandal. He said that action was taken against 76,634 petitions during the previous Revenue Meet programme in the district. He advised the political leaders not to interfere in the functioning of officials when they make authentic changes in connection with the possession of lands, other changes and beneficiaries for further land distribution scheme (seventh phase). The Minister said that the meetings would be held in 1,252 gram panchayats in the district during the month. The persons who purchased their lands have to get them registered without delay, he said. As many as 5,000 houses would be allocated to poor people in Paleru Assembly constituency, Venkat Reddy said. Tahsildar L Kishore Kumar presided over the meeting. RDO Vasam Venkateswarlu, Market Committee chairman M Radha Kishore and other officials were present.A Deputy Speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka inaugurates Revenue Meet at Venkatapuram Gram Panchayat in Mudigonda mandal. He urged the people belonging to SCs, STs and other poorer sections to make use of the Revenue Meetings to settle their pending land related problems. The Deputy Speaker laid foundation to the BT road works at Ammapet village. The BT road would be constructed at a cost of Rs 25 lakhs.A Special Officer Mohan Rao, Tahsildar Prakash, MPDO Sanyasayya and other officials were present. Adilabad: District In-charge Minister Basavaraju Saraiah launched Revenue Meet at Taklee village in Mudhole mandal of Adilabad district on Tuesday. Along with the land related problems, people can also raise other issues at the meetings, the Minister said. The Minister also inaugurated Protected Water Supply scheme in the village on the occasion. District Collector A Ashok, Mudhole MLA Venugopala Chary and other officials were present at the programme.
