Digvijay Singh's posers to Modi

Media demonised AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh as someone speaking out-of-turn and out to grab headlines, even at the cost of embarrassing the Congress. Any reaction or clarification from the AICC Media Department on his remarks was projected as Digvijay Singh being out of sync with the party thinking.

Not one to lose his cool with media tactics, Digvijay, instead, chose to dig in his heels and remain focused on what he is best at � exposing the tall claims of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Tirelessly he appears on various private television channels to keep up his exposes on Modi.

His latest is that Modi has engaged the services of a PR agency at a cost of $300 million for image-makeover. After the controversy surrounding the US Congressional delegation visit to Gujarat, with talk of its being organised as a junket, no one now disbelieves such an expose. After the social media networks labelled Modi as Feku (bragger), Digvijay congratulated them.

He went on to point out how Maharashtra is No 1 in FDI inflows and not Gujarat, despite Vibrant Gujarat Summits! What is worse, Gujarat is lowest on human development index and the state runs a huge debt.
