The idea of ‘Falling in Love at the first sight’ seems to be so novelistic and everyone would love to experience it but it might be like a book you chose just by looking at its cover. However, no matter how you fall in love there are complexities to love but one should get an idea of what is in store for the ones who fall head over heels at the first sight.

Here are reasons why you might not want to venture into this novel concept:

Physical attraction:

Many might argue over the concept of ‘Love at first sight’ stating that it is in fact love however, it can be attributed to the physical appearance of the person which attracts your attention. To call it love is jumping into conclusions a tad but fast.

Ignoring Signs:

As soon as the thought settles that you are attracted to a person, by default the person’s actions or qualities also come under the likable category. Even though obvious signs crop up showing the incompatibility, they are ignored in a tryst to attain love or excuses are made leading to a deluded state of mind.

Anticipation:

With only one meet, conclusions are drawn making it more exciting to meet the person one more time. Anticipating more than the circumstances presented, only positive aspects are noticed making one dreaming of having a future with him/her.

Love is blind:

Falling head over heels for the person which pushes everyone else that mattered to you before to the backseat lasts until the initial rush of feelings drain or diminishes slightly.

Love reciprocated:

Just because you felt the love, it does not necessarily have to mean that the other person also feels the same but until you realize that the person might not be the one for you even after trying too hard to make it work, it might be too late and you may end up heartbroken.

Realization hits hard:

Once your infatuation wears off and you start seeing things clearly with realization hitting hard of the things you let go off in the name of love.

Things turn ugly:

It takes a while to judge a person and truly fall in love. Following the initial lovey dovey moments, the truth is out whether the person you imagined to be in the first sight remained the same or turns out to be exactly opposite. If it’s the latter, you can be in for a rough ride as things when falling down the steep might not be pleasant and can turn ugly.
