Telangana State lifter MR Chaitanya won laurels for the State when he bagged a bronze medal in the Senior National Weightlifting Championship at Patiala on Monday.
Hyderabad: Telangana State lifter MR Chaitanya won laurels for the State when he bagged a bronze medal in the Senior National Weightlifting Championship at Patiala on Monday.
According to information received here, Chaitanya lifted 136kgs in snatch and 170kg in clean and jerk for a cumulative 306 kg that fetched him the third spot.
MRK Rao, President, Telangana Weightlifting Association, congratulated Chaitanya and hoped that he would continue to put the State on top of the fraternity.
