Hyderabad: Telangana sailors left their mark on the closing day of the Telangana State Sailing Regatta.
Local girl Majji Lalitha made a mockery of overnight placing and superseded leaders Tungara Mahboobee and Lakshmi Nookarathnam to take the sub-junior crown.
She also won silver in the Open Sub-Junior category behind Chunnu Kumar of Karnataka.
Incidentally, in what was first all three medal winning girls are students of Marredpally Girls Government School.
Kankatla Goutham proved his excellence with a double by winning both the State Junior and Open fleet Junior category titles.
