Nizamabad and Ranga Reddy emerged champions at the 6th Telangana State Sub Junior Throwball Championship held at Epistemo Vikas Leadership School, Tella Pur, Rangareddy on Sunday The twoday event organised by Reddy District Throwball Association witnessed the participation of players from all the 10 districts of Telangana
Hyderabad: Nizamabad and Ranga Reddy emerged champions at the 6th Telangana State Sub Junior Throwball Championship held at Epistemo Vikas Leadership School, Tella Pur, Rangareddy on Sunday. The two-day event organised by Reddy District Throwball Association witnessed the participation of players from all the 10 districts of Telangana.
Nizamabad made a splendid start to win the first game but conceded the second game to Hyderabad before making a fighback in the third game to clinch the boys title.The girls final too ended on similar lines. Ranga Reddy overcome stiff resistance from Hyderabad to lift the crown.
Boys Best Player - Master. Nithin of Nizamabad team was adjudged the Boys Best Player while Koumidini of Ranga Reddy claimed the Girls Best Player award.Hema Surapaneni, Principal Epistemo, was the chief guest for the valedictory function. Kiran Goud, Peerkonda Telangana Throwball Association vice pesident, LavaKumar Goud and Komu Venkat also attended the function. The chief guest presented trophies and medals to the players.
