2015 At the Delhi Republic Day parade, floats representing different states and aspects of India were one of the highlights. And this year’s doodle was just that

This year's Google India's Republic Day doodle features a tableau showcasing India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan, two New Delhi landmarks that are symbolic of the Republic of India. The tableau showcased the stretch of the ceremonial boulevard from Raisina Hill to India Gate, the centerpiece of the traditional parade.

2014 In 2014, the doodle featured daredevils from the Border Security Force as motorcycle riders in saffron, white, and green, performing one of their famed balancing acts

The doodle shows a tableau rolling down the Rajpath with people in traditional Indian dresses waving to the crowd. The word 'Google' is embossed on its side matching with the colours of the majestic buildings on the two ends. In an aerial view, the Raisina Hill, seat of the power and India Gate, the symbol of supreme sacrifices made by soldiers in wars, can be seen gleaming in the sun, accentuating their architectural grandeur.

2013 In the doodle posted on India's 64th Republic Day in 2013, India's national animal the tiger glared at you from Google India's home page and the symbol of the Republic, India Gate, decorated the bottom left corner of the doodle. The Google logo appeared as stripes on the tiger's body. Lotus, India's national flower, also appeared in the jungle-like motif surrounding the tiger

The Hill section shows the majestic Rashtrapati Bhawan and the two secretariat blocks -- North Block and South Block surrounded by lush greenery while the historic memorial arch stands resplendently on the other end. The colours used in the doodle reflect the original sandstone finish and adds an extra dash of grandeur to the whole set up.
