Elaborating on the measure being taken, here on Friday, the IT and Panchayat Raj Minister K Tarakarama Rao pointed out that women IT staff work in different shifts. Women police stations would help them bring any sort of issue to the notice of authorities without any fear.

The Minister was speaking at “Hyderabad-The Road Ahead” interactive session organised by the Hyderabad branch of Round Table India organisation, which comprises entrepreneurs, doctors, engineers and people from different walks of life in the age of 18 to 40.

Once ITIR project is completed, the population of the state capital could become triple (nearly 3 crore) in next 20 years compared to the present and TRS party will leave no stone unturned to address the growing needs of the city, he added. ‘Hyderabad is known for IT, pharma and bio-technology sectors. It will soon become Aerospace Hub of India. We intend to make Hyderabad along the lines of Dubai-which has a sports city, business city, etc. located within’
