Beas Tragedy: Sai Raj’s Dead Body Found. As envisaged, the dead bodies started floating after the 11thday. On Friday the, one more dead body of a student of VNR VJIET college of Hyderabad was retrieved.
Shimla: As envisaged, the dead bodies started floating after the 11thday. On Friday , one more dead body of a student of VNR VJIET college of Hyderabad was retrieved. The dead body was identified as that of Sai Raj, a resident of A.S. Rao Nagar in Hyderabad. It is evident that on Thursday, on the 12th day after the Beas tragedy in Himachal Pradesh, four more bodies were retrieved from the Beas River. The dead bodies have been sent to Hyderabad.

According to sources, the swollen body floating in the river was spotted by search teams at Pandoh Dam located 16 km away from the mishap site. Only 13 dead bodies have been fished out so far of the total 24 dead bodies of the engineering students. The dam authorities and other officials are expecting more bodies to float in the next two or three days.
The Telangana transport minister Mahendar Reddy who has been present at the spot said that the siren didn't work at the dam when the water was released on the tragic day. He said they were expecting more dead bodies within a day or two.
