Heist in Howra Mail at Ulavapadu. The robbers have created a commotion in Howrah Mail Express between Ulavapadu and Chetthu railway stations, early on Tuesday.
Hyderabad: The robbers have created a commotion in Howrah Mail Express between Ulavapadu and Chetthu railway stations, early on Tuesday. As soon as the train reached a place in between these two stations, the robbers pulled the chain to stop the train and to stick up. They have robbed gold ornaments of the passengers, according to sources. Railway police informed that it is true that the chain was halted after pulling the chain. But, they said that they were not aware of the robbery in the train.
It is worth recollecting that the Chennai-Secunderabad Express has been robbed by the thieves twice during the last month. Also, few other trains were also robbed in a similar way. Nowadays, the robbery in the trains has been increasing. An adequate preventive action is solicited.
