Telangana To Urge ESL Narasimhan For Shifting AP Secretariat. The Telangana state government has reportedly decided to urge ESL Narasimhan, the common governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states, to shift the Andhra Pradesh secretariat to another place from the present location.

AP Secretariat.Hyderabad: The Telangana state government has reportedly decided to urge ESL Narasimhan, the common governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states, to shift the Andhra Pradesh secretariat to another place from the present location. The officials will be putting forward the issue before the governor during the Wednesday review meeting of R & B department with the governor. It is learnt that the officials would demand the shifting of Andhra Pradesh state secretariat quoting the ongoing problems as the reasons for the same.

Already, there have been many issues between the states like EAMCET, PACs cancellation et al that have become a cause of concern for the people of either state. Adding fuel to the fire, this issue of shifting the state secretariat may pose another problem between the two Telugu states.

The official representation may include the insufficiency of the four blocks allotted to the Telangana Secretariat, apart from the problems being posed by the non-vacation of the places by the Andhra Pradesh secretariat employees. Also, parking issue may be raised additionally in the representation, reportedly.

It is also learnt that the state government would urge the governor to allocate Heritage Bhavan of Nizam time (used by late NTR as Samhitha block) to Telangana state government, apart from demanding the vacation of the Andhra Pradesh officials functioning from D Block. The problems being faced by the sharing of common library and canteen services will also be taken up with the governor.

The TJAC leader Devi Prasad said that they have called on the Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma to complain about the problems being faced by them. He said that a positive assurance was given to them by the CS that the matter will be taken up with the Governor.
