It is evident that all is set ready for the Intensive Household Survey to be held on August 19. From the other end, the final list of enumerators to hold intensive household survey in Hyderabad has been made ready, according to sources. Estimated 20L families reside in GHMC jurisdiction. To carryout the survey, it was decided initially to depute as many as 80,000 to 1 lakh enumerators. However, there was a shortfall of enumerators for the survey which ultimately forced to bring down the number of enumerators to 60,000 to 70,000. Even the GHMC employees and police in civil dress will take part in ibid survey. 4,000 polices have been detailed for the said duty by the city Commissioner of police Mahender Reddy, while additional 3900 polices have been detailed by Cyberabad Police Commissioner CV Anand.

The GHMC officials are planning to allocate 30-40 homes for each enumerator and they will be held responsible for the transparency of information in the data collected by them. Orders have been passed to all the enumerators that they should visit the houses allotted to them on August 17 and 18 on a trial basis to ensure everything goes smooth on August 19, the day of the Intensive Household Survey. The idea is to easily locate the houses allotted to them so that the final survey will be a successful one.
