Hyderabad: Allaying apprehensions of all those who gave bank account details during Intensive Household Survey, the State government announced that confidential details would not be made public.

To find out about survey pattern in various districts, Panchayat Raj principal secretary Raymond Peter held a video conference with Collectors and revenue officials on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Raymond informed that survey was taken by nearly one crore 5 lakh families. He said survey was complete in six districts except for few areas in GHMC limits, rural Rangareddy, Warangal and Khammam districts.

In Hyderabad alone, around 1.9 lakh families were still to be enumerated, he added. Around 10,000 families in Khammam, Warangal and rural Rangareddy districts were not covered due to lack of time, he said.

He stated that process of uploading data collected in survey would begin from Friday onwards. Around 381 data entry centres and 17,140 computers would be made available for this purpose, he added.

Responding to a query, he clarified that only survey details would be made online. Banking, properties and other confidential information would not be kept in public domain.
