Before the just concluded general elections, the TRS party and the Congress party had equal chances of winning the polls. If the TRS Party has claimed that they have fought for the statehood of Telangana for 13 years, the Congress Party has claimed from the other side that they have ultimately given Telangana state. In a similar way, many issues were presented before the people of the state in the equal and differed manner by either party. But, the ultimate people’s verdict has gone in favour of the TRS Party.

Surely, even this time in the case of Medak by-poll, the main fight will be between the TRS and Congress Parties. TRS Party has a great hold over Medak Lok Sabha constituency. Also, it is the home district of many prominent leaders of the party including the party supremo KCR and Harish Rao, one of the top cadre leaders of the party. All these collectively give an advantage to the party and make it easy for their sailing.

From the other end, the Congress Party which has been wondering why they lost the elections even after giving Telangana wants to establish in by-elections. So, the party may rivet the most suitable candidate in the fray, apart from undertaking vast campaigning to inform people that Telangana was realized just because of Sonia Gandhi’s full of zip interest. So, the party might give a tough fight to TRS in this way.

Though some other parties may be in the fray, their impact may not be blatant, unquestionably. In view of all these, there is a sure and a tough fight between the ruling TRS and main opposition Congress Party. Everyone has to keep their fingers crossed and see what the poll verdict would speak in this game of Chess!!
