Tapeswaram Laddu travelled to Telangana with love n devotion

As a tradition, the makers of the famous Tapeswaram Khaja of “Suruchi Foods” prepared the huge laddu this year too. The gigantic Laddu reached to Khairathabad on August 28 from Ravulapalem town, Kakinada Andhra Pradesh.

Laddu will place on the left palm of the Ganesh statue on the event of Ganesh Festival on 29 August. The Ganesh Utsava committee conducts Puja’s by inviting the Governor to Festival celebrations on Vinyaka Chavithi.

The preparation of Laddu started with 16 other people on August 11 with love and devotion to offer the prayers to Lord Ganesha said Malli Baabu.

This is the fourth consecutive year that East Godavari is offering the huge Laddu to Khairatabad Ganesh. In 2010, Malli Babu offered a 600-kg laddu to Kairathabad Ganesh for the first time. Later, the laddu is growing bigger every year, 2011 it is 2400 kilos, 3500-kg laddu in 2012 and a 4200-kg laddu in 2013.

People from Ravulapalem said this is a great honor to Kakinada district, hoping that the same tradition continues in future.
