Hyderabad: The Telangana state government on Tuesday has announced an ex-gratia to Gangadhar, the driver who charred to death in Bowenpally bus accident that happened, early on Tuesday. A probe has been ordered by the government into this episode. Also, an ex-gratia of Rs 6L has been announced to the victim’s family, apart from offering a government job to one of the family members.

It is evident that in an accident that happened in the midnight on Monday (early on Tuesday) near Bowenpalli in Hyderabad, an RTC Bus Driver was charred to death when the bus he was driving caught fire upon hitting a DCM van. As many as 10 passengers hurt in this incident. This incident happened when the bus was on its way to Nizamabad from Hyderabad.
The victims have been rushed to a nearby Gandhi hospital. The police rushed the spot and registered a case. It is learnt that the bus was handed over for driving to the victim Gangadhar (40) by co-driver Madhu. A few passengers from Armoor were on the bus when this incident happened.
The accident happened near the turning of Sri Latha Garden. Coincidentally, a Sub Inspector of Police Venu who was on the same road alerted the passengers and helped them out and rescued them.
