The Mayor said that though tenders were finalised the contractor couldn’t take up the construction of ramp at Moula Ali. He directed the engineering department officials to put up the proposals in the Standing Committee with enhanced rates to expedite the works.
Mayor reviews works in Karwan
“A decision would be taken on the proposed suspension bridge at Salarjung Museum after consultation with revenue and town planning officials,” informed Mayor Majid Hussain. He held a review meeting with Karwan MLA Kauser Mohiuddin on projects and maintenance works at Karwan on Tuesday.

Speaking about Jiyaguda slaughter house, “We have sent proposals of Rs 15 crore to the government and the file is in process. We are mulling on completing the works with corporation’s funds.”
“Tenders for the Ramnasthpura slaughter house have been finalised and works would be taken up shortly,” he concluded.
