Golconda Tense Over Telangana Liberation Day Clashes

Tension gripped area surrounding the historic Golconda fort in Hyderabad following clashes between BJP workers and he police force. The Telangana BJP workers were there to hoist the national flag to mark the Telangana Liberation Day.

Although security had been stepped up around the area, the police were forced to block people from entering which led to clashes between the two. Jai Telangana slogans rent the air.
