Telangana State CM Seeks More Time For Budget Session. Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday evening.
Hyderabad: Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday evening. He is learnt to have sought more time for convening the budget session of Assembly as the government was still in the process of preparing the budget.
This meeting assumes importance as the time for approval of Vote-on-Account budget expires on September 30.
The Chief Minister quoting the AP Reorganisation Act-2014 said the Act gave the newly formed Telangana State time till December 2 to complete this exercise.
KCR is also said to have urged the Governor to clear the file pertaining to the ordinance on budget and he also briefed him about government’s arrangements for the prestigious Metropolis World Congress to be held in first week of October in Hyderabad.
